  1. Here are some new things in NetTalk Version 2.12:

  3. (1) You can now send a Yellow Sticky Pad.  F2 will
  4. make a new Sticky Pad and you can then send
  5. it to anyone on the Lan by hitting F2 or F10
  6. to save it.  The person receiving the Sticky Pad
  7. can either delete it or save it in their Sticky
  8. Pads - if there is enough room.  Only 14 Sticky
  9. Pads are possible. The date has also been added
  10. next to the time.

  12. The purpose of this new feature was to eliminate
  13. the need to write a postem note, hike down the 
  14. hall, and leave it on a person's desk or PC.
  15. It has been estimated that this occurs more than
  16. 10,000,000 times every business day.  It could
  17. be more or less but it does happen a lot.  This
  18. feature could save thousands of trees and 
  19. hours lost leaving people messages.
  20.  
  21. (2) The Phone Intercom message field has been
  22. expanded which allows message takers a lot more
  23. space to take long messages such as "the system
  24. ordered needs to have a special feature and you
  25. need to program it before your ship."  We found
  26. that NetTalk customers often take long messages
  27. and we added more space.  In addition, when you
  28. sent a Phone Message, a message comes back to the
  29. sender letting you know that the message sent
  30. is confirmed and is waiting for the recipient
  31. to make a selection.

  33. (3) If you have new Calls in your Call Log, 
  34. when you bring up the Main Menu ALT I, you 
  35. will see that you have new messages.  In addition,
  36. NETTALK will bleep-bleep every 5 minutes to
  37. let you know you have new messages.  In addition,
  38. we have added a BY: to the Call Log to let you
  39. know who processed the call.

  41. (4) We refined a myriad of other features too 
  42. numerous to mention, we hope you will like.
